Alan Ray Trejo … son of Ray and Elsa...His dad coached varsity basketball at Roosevelt High School in Los Angeles for 13 years...Attended Warren High School in Downey, Calif., where he was a three-time All-CIF Division 3 First-Team honoree...Attended San Diego State University and majored in aerospace engineering...Primarily played second base for SDSU but also made 21 total appearances on the mound, compiling a 3.97 ERA (22.2 IP, 10 ER)...Has a chocolate lab and a huge sweet tooth.

2023

Played in 28 games for the Rockies during his Major League debut season... Had his contract selected by the Rockies from the Alternate Training Site on April 10, his first time on an active roster … made his Major League debut the same day, pinch-hitting with two outs in the ninth inning at San Francisco with the Rockies trailing by one... Batted .148 (4-for-27) with three runs scored, one double, two RBI, three walks and nine strikeouts over eight starts with Colorado… made six starts at second base and two at shortstop... Went 4-for-11 (.364) as a pinch-hitter and 6-for-19 (.316) overall as a sub... Totaled three stints with the Rockies: April 10-May 19, June 1-9 and Aug. 17-23... Played 90 games for Triple-A Albuquerque, slashing .278/.324/.569... Led the Triple-A West with 57 extra-base hits, ranked second with 34 doubles, tied for fourth with six triples and was 10th with an .893 OPS... Finished second among Isotopes with 72 RBI and was third with 17 home runs, both Minor League career highs.  

2020

Named to Colorado’s 2020 player pool and spent the 60-game shortened season at the alternate training site in Denver... Attended his first Major League Spring Training and batted .353 (6-for-17) with one double, three RBI, three walks and five strikeouts over 16 games.

2019

Played a career-high 125 games for Double-A Harford, batting .243 (106-for-437)...His 15 home runs were tied with INF Brett Boswell and OF Vince Fernandez for the team lead...Named a Mid-Season All-Star after batting .272 (59-for-217) with 18 runs, nine doubles, eight home runs, 27 RBI and 11 walks across 61 games in the first half...Collected a career-high nine total bases on Aug. 4 vs. Trenton, after going 4-for-5 with two doubls, one home run and four RBI.

2018

Named a Mid-Season All-Star for High-A Lancaster...Hit four of his 10 home runs on the season in the month of April...Made 80 starts at shortstop and 26 at third base...Batted .333 (32-for-96) with nine doubles, three home runs and 14 RBI in August. 

2017

Batted .347 (60-for-173) for Rookie Level Grand Junction in his first professional season...Named a Post-Season All-Star for Grand Junction...Hit his first career home run on July 8 vs. Ogden...Batted .425 (34-for-80) across 22 games at home.
